Feed raw material & finished feeds are inevitably contaminated with a wide range of moulds and mycotoxins resulting in reduction of quality and palatability of feed. Mycotoxins have a detrimental effect on the health & perfromance of animals. Most common mycotoxins found in feed such as Aflatoxins (B1), Zearalenone (ZEA),Ochratoxin (OTA), Trichothecenes (T2), Fumonisins (FB1) have adverse health effects and these toxins do get transferred to animal products which has become a great threat to human well being.
